There's no question that some of Sweden's sexual assault laws seem peculiar. That said, they are law in that country. And what I find revealing about the Julian Assange case is how the left are now attacking the credibility of the women accusing him of sexual assault. Were Assange a pro-American/pro-Western figure, they'd be calling him a rapist and insisting he be extradited to Sweden. Instead, it is being suggested by many on the left, including many women, that these women are dupes of the CIA, or operatives themselves. Or that the government in Stockholm is doing what Washington asks. As if. (It reminds me of the hypocrisy of feminism in regards Palin.)
