...at the Monitor, about Canada and why we're holding it together.
Interestingly, one of the things I mention is that Canadians can't walk away from their mortgages, whereas Americans can. Recently, I was out for dinner with my boyfriend, my sister-in-law and a couple of my brothers. My brothers kept insisting that the reverse was true. My boyfriend stood firm, saying, "No, I'm pretty sure it's Canadians who can't walk away from their mortgages."
I checked it out for the article and of course, the beau was right.
