Those of you not on Twitter really need to join, if only to follow the Twitter War that has been going on for the past 48 hours. It features Ezra, Margaret Atwood, Dan Gardner (a Citizen columnist), Kathy Shaidle and a couple of others who pipe in here and there. It's quite glorious to behold! I mean, I tweet about my cats. Anyway, it has, at its root, Atwood's neurotic paranoia about Sun TV, and by extension, the Canadian left's paranoia about the same.

Now, lost in the battle, was an exchange between Tarek Fatah and Atwood. Atwood had asserted -- in full ridiculosity -- that Sun TV was the greatest threat to Canada, blah blah blah...and also had made a dismissive comment about homegrown terror threats. Fatah challenged her on this, only to be subjected to her nastiness and remarkably (for all her awards and praise) thin skin. I'm not quite caught up but yesterday she suggested he couldn't read. Bloody hell.

Fatah can read and write. Here's his latest, about homegrown terror, in the Ottawa Citizen.
