Quelle vie -- Gunnar Sonsteby, Norway's most decorated war hero, has died. He was 94. I was trying to find a part of the article to highlight but then I realized his exploits were all so extraordinary that all I can do is link to the article and encourage you to read it. You will not be disappointed.
I also encourage you to look at his picture and appreciate that long face, because it is very familiar to me. Looks like the face of my grandfather, mother and uncles. There must be some "long face" gene circulating in Norway.
