There is a problem with the comments again, people. My webmistress is on it. Or rather, she'll be on it once she reads the email I sent her about it.

David Chen and the Hypocrisy of Olivia Chow PDF Print E-mail

I completely agree with my friend Roy about David Chen -- but he leaves one thing out. This story shows Olivia Chow up for the hypocrite she is. You know that if the incident had not happened in her riding and that if Chen had not had his community so strongly behind him (and quite rightly so) she would have been on the side of the real criminal here. She saw her voters reacting angrily and responded accordingly. I really can't bear the woman, though I remain happy for Chen. He should not have gone through any of this nonsense.

I love this picture (stupid copyright laws won't allow me to post it here) from the Champions League Milan-Real Madrid match -- PIrlo for his hotness and Ozil for his sad Turkish eyes.

...a decent man like George Bush would waste a second worrying about what Kanye West thinks:

Despite the criticism he received following Hurricane Katrina, Bush wrote, a comment from rapper Kanye West during a live Katrina telethon hit him the hardest.

"George Bush doesn't care about black people," West said.

Bush said he was "disgusted" and "deeply insulted."

As well he should have been. But mostly, he should not have thought twice about it. Being a good person though, he did.
